CLINICAL ENDODONTICS

  • Diagnosing, treatment planning & case discussion of each RCT patient

    Diagnostic techniques, planning and execution in form of advance multiple aids. Multiple approaches via oral diagnosis,RVG,heat and cold tests.

  • Basic & Rotary Endodontics

    Learning the basics of RCT with crucial skills needed for exploring and execution of the treatment protocol. Advanced Key Features of Rotary Endodontics

  • Post & core

    This module focuses on the restoration of severely damaged teeth by teaching participants how to place prefabricated and custom dental posts. Students learn the step-by-step process of post placement, core build-up, and preparation for crowns, ensuring the structural integrity and longevity of restorations.

  • Composite restoration

    The course includes comprehensive training in composite restorations, focusing on both anterior and posterior teeth. Participants learn shade selection, cavity preparation, layering techniques, and finishing and polishing for aesthetic, natural-looking restorations. The program emphasizes precision, ensuring participants master the art of achieving seamless restorations that blend perfectly with natural teeth.

CLINICAL PROSTHODONTICS

  • Overview

    Understanding oral & facial anatomy as well as physiology of mastication and speech. Treatment planning & CD designing Tooth preparation & Occulsion Impression techniques Effects of aesthetics & phonetics in denture Clinical & Case based discussion for each patient alloted

  • Removable partial dentures (rpd)

    Clinical/Case Based Discussions: Different types of RPD, which RPD is given in which type of case. Designing, making primary/final impressions: which impression materials to use, recording jaw relation, try in & denture delivery. This is followed by allotment of RPD case to the participant

  • Complete dentures (cd)

    Clinical/Case Based Discussions: Conventional denture: making primary/final impressions: which impression materials to use, recording jaw relation, try in & denture delivery. Denture Repair, Relining & Rebasing. This is followed by working on CD patient by the participant

  • Fixed partial dentures (fpd)

    Clinical/Case Based Discussions: procedure to prepare metal, ceramic facing & porcelain fused to metal (PFM) crowns for anterior & posterior teeth. Principles of crown preparation: preservation of tooth structure, resistance and retention form, structural durability, marginal integrity. Types of finish lines and types of burs used during crown preparation. Crown removal. Hands on by participants on Extracted teeth: Crown preparation

ORAL SURGERY & EXODONTIA

  • Tooth Extractions

    Perform 10 extractions, including firm and grossly carious teeth. • Learn proper use of extraction instruments (forceps, elevators) for various tooth types.

  • Local Anesthesia

    Techniques for administering local anesthesia safely and effectively.
    Understanding different types of anesthesia and their applications.

  • Flap Design and Suturing

    Training in flap design for surgical access.
    Hands-on practice of suturing techniques for proper wound closure.

  • Biopsy Training

    Hands-on biopsy practice using chicken breast models.
    Learn tissue sampling techniques for oral cancer screening and diagnosis

  • Post-Operative Care

    Guidance on managing post-surgical complications like bleeding, swelling, and infection.

  • Periodontal Assessment and Diagnosis

    Comprehensive training on periodontal examination techniques, including probing depth measurement, attachment loss assessment, and bleeding on probing (BOP) evaluation.

  • Scaling and Root Planing (SRP)

    Hands-on practice of scaling and root planing procedures to remove plaque, calculus, and infected cementum.

  • Periodontal Surgery and Crown Lengthening

    Training on crown lengthening procedures to expose more tooth structure for restorative work.
    Learn surgical techniques for gingivectomy, aesthetic CLP, Smile Enhancement and flap surgery under supervision.

  • Periodontal Maintenance and Patient Care

    Introduction to periodontal instruments, including Gracey curettes, universal curettes, and sickle scalers.

    Exposure to regenerative procedures like bone grafts and guided tissue regeneration (GTR), frenectomy & teeth sensitivity.
